Participants returning for their second or third year in the program may expand their skill set by assisting project teams with design. Students participating in the program for their first year often assist our survey crews or provide construction observation assistance.

Co-ops occur over the course of a semester and may be counted for college credit, depending on graduation and credit requirements of the educational institution the student attends. Internships last an average of 12 weeks and take place from May through August. On average, between ten and 20 positions are available per year.
